Our Light weight lower receiver starts off as our regular 7075 forged lower, and then machined to take off weight without sacrificing the structural integrity of the lower receiver. By the design we achieved we have almost shaved off two ounces all while maintaining the strength of our standard forged lower. As the saying goes “ounces equal pounds”.
